Gynecomastia Surgery Question?

Okay, so I’m 16 and have had Gynecomastia for about a year. It is really upsetting and is definitely starting to ruin my life.

I can’t go swimming with my friends or take my shirt off anywhere, I am especially worried about what will happen if I take my shirt off in front of a girlfriend.It doesn’t help that my brother makes fun of me for it and points it out to everyone who he thinks will look.

Do you have to be awake for the surgery?
Does the incision hurt?
Is the surgery worth it?
If its a “lipo” surgery, do they have to cut your nipple open?

Im 14 years old and I have gynecomastia (man boobs). I will admit that even though I have been trying to lose some weight I am still heavy ,im 5’8 165 lbs.
I have lost about 10 pounds and im still trying hard to lose more. My man boobs are not proportional to my body size, they seem to stick out much more now and that makes them even more noticeable. I don’t really know why this is happening it is probably either because i’m losing weight in my stomach area or they are getting bigger.
If wieght loss won’t help me then I need to know if surgery is my only hope. I am worried will it leave any scars. Also are there side effects that I could experience from having gynecomastia surgery when I am still a teenager?

I have a tooth infection, will that stop gynecomastia surgery?

I am having gynecomastia surgery next week, I have been waiting for a long time to save the money up and get an appointment with the plastic surgeon.

I am worried because I have had toothache for the last few days and am going to the dentist on Saturday because I am worried there may be an infection in one of my teeth. I can’t have this much pain in my tooth and there be no reason for it.

If they find there is an infection in one of my teeth, or the gum maybe, I assume they will put me on some drug treatment for it. Would this infection, and the treatement for it, make me postpone my surgery to remove my man boobs?

I am so sick of these things and I just want the surgery so I can get them removed and move on with my life.
