Brutally Honest is correct; you need to start with your family physician or GP. I doubt he/she is recommend you for surgery.

Two questions:

1. How old are you?

2. Have you been to see a doctor and gotten an “official” diagnosis?

I think that if your doctor says you have a viable case and refers you to a plastic surgeon, then your parents will probably see your situation as “necessary” and won’t have any issues with funding the surgery.

The reason I ask about your age is that if you’re young, you might still “fill out” and the masses of flesh (which are REALLY not that pronounced) might discipate … kind of a “baby fat” sort of thing.

But really, the first place you should be starting is your doctor’s office.
